The day dawned bright and sunny and remained perfect for the whole of the Burns Holy Fayre.
It seemed that the world and it's brother had come to sample the delights of the many stalls, and as always, there was a queue for a roast pork roll.(one of these years I'll treat myself)...
There was also entertainments for the children, including various roundabouts and trampolines.
There was also a chance for the children to meet Spiderman, and Anna and Elsa from "Frozen".
There was also a stage with live entertainment, which was very well received.
A special mention must go to everyone involved in the running of the refreshments in the Large Hall.
I had arrived at a busy time, as you will see by the queues in the photographs, and everything ran like clockwork.
Congratulations to everyone involved, there was a lot of work and the amount raised will be intimated at a later date, once it has all been counted.
Mauchline was absolutely mobbed with people and they arrived in coach loads to swell the numbers.
I have taken a load of photos below to show you what it was like, so make yourself a tea or coffee, sit back and enjoy, in case you were one of the very few who were unable to be there.
