The Rev David Albon welcomed Lady Alexander to the event.
He gave an overview of the timeline of the project, and some of the areas
of work that had been covered, including the external waterproofing and
windproofing of the church.
Inside the church there have been some technology enhancements, with the
introduction of a touch screen display, allowing visitors to explore
various of interest of the church.
There are also audio tours available with "wands" which allow visitors to
go to various parts of the church and listen to information relating to
that area, for example the Willis Organ.
The photos below show the touch screen being unveiled by Lady Alexander,
and also what the audio wand looks like.
